Aurora City Council, Ward 6
Bryan teaches at a school with 15% homelessness/unstable housing. The City Council has the power to directly impact the housing crisis in Aurora and fight for the student yet they actively do the opposite. They do everything they can for the benefit of developers and Oil and Gas but nothing when it comes to the most disadvantaged residents and the health and safety of the community and environment. With the local control laws passed at the state around oil and gas, minimum wage, and housing, this is the place to do the change necessary to impact the community is such a positive way. As a product of Aurora Bryan feels compelled to run for office and enact change that will assist his fellow residents.
