U.S. House, Rhode Island 2
David Segal is a longstanding activist and former elected official. He was a member of the Providence City Council and of the RI House of Reps, and in both capacities he worked to forward a slew of progressive causes, including workers’ rights, housing, renewable energy, immigrant rights, prison and police reform, and more.
David is running because he knows that government should be able to do more for the people, and he has a 20 year track record of building the sorts of coalitions we need in order to secure progressive change. He knows how to use levers of power — from building grassroots pressure to arcane procedural maneuvers within Congress — to forward causes we care about.
